Movable oil recovery & storage concrete island can replace shallow water fixed platforms and FPSO.
"Movable oil recovery & storage concrete island" have functions of drilling, mining, storage, transport and etc., which can replace shallow water fixed platforms and FPSO, and it has anti-ice design. It can be used in the exploit of large & medium-sized oil field as well as marginal oil fields. It can be relocated and reused for many times, and it is of low investment, low operating cost, low dismantle cost, safe, environmental protection, easy operation and production, etc.
Retained by CNOOC to carry out concrete shell design including process evaluation, finite element analysis, construction scheme, cost estimation etc. A Full Concrete Concept Design was also developed including conceptual design, process assessment, structure evaluation, evaluation of construction, towing, installation and removability analysis.
