LNG FSU Hub, Indonesia
An innovation business model and LNG storage concept to cut down the LNG transport and storage cost.
LNGE, a private company based in Singapore, intends to develop a LNG FSU Hub in Dumai, Indonesia for the purposes of LNG shipment and storage. The total capacity is designed as 3.3 MTPA. LNG into the hub will be transferred by normal LNG Carriers (LNGC). LNG trading will be done by small-scale LNG carriers exporting LNG to medium and long distance areas while LNG ISO container carriers are intended for nearby locations. HalcrowSea was commissioned by the client to review the conceptual design and provide preliminary design for marine works, process design onshore facility, electrical and instrumentation, etc.
