Qidong LNG project, the first private LNG import terminal built in Yangtze delta.

Guanghui Energy Co. Ltd., a private company listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange, built LNG terminal in Qidong, Jiangsu Province to expand the LNG trade in China.

Qidong LNG terminal is the second private LNG receiving terminal in China, LNG Carrier (LNGC) ranging from 19,100 to 150,900m3. There are two 50,000 cubic meter LNG tanks, and two 160,000 cubic meter LNG full containment tanks to be built in phase 2 and 3.

Retained by Guanghui Energy, HalcrowSea conducted a series of specialist studies including master plan, concept design, design review, process optimization study, LNGC emergency evacuation study etc.,. In consideration of global LNGC safety accident research and international rules and codes, Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) were also carried out to identify risks and figure out hazard area during LNG emergent evacuation.
