The scale of phase 1 is 1.5 million tons/a, mainly providing natural gas for the 1200 MW Combined Cycle Power Station project. LNG gasification station project includes a 180,000m3 LNG storage tank, process unit, LNG truck loading station, elevated flare facility, public works and auxiliary production unit, metering facilities, LNG jetty and water intake etc. 400,000m3 area is reserved for LNG storage tank of phase 2.

HalcrowSea was assigned to conduct the technical and economic evaluation of the project. The works mainly comprised of the assessment of the technical and economic risks of the project to make the project investment match local market development. We were asked to develop project investment plan, evaluate the concept schemes of gasification station including jetty and FSRU etc., analyze the economy of investment, identify investment risks and put forward technical suggestions for risk control.

The cooperation between China and Cambodia along “One Belt One Road” initiative has been constantly deepened, contributing to the development of clean energy industry in Cambodia.
